n den i study Value Analysis in the Quality Assurance nd Management subject (ENG 3048M).....


Definition of Value Analysis:
"Reducing Costs without reducing the Value"

and....

Costs = what the item IS (made out of)
Value = what the item DOES (verb-noun relationship or two word descriptions)


so there is a big revamp in TY's bag....

a Pet Shop bag !!!

good width for me to store my stuff....

2 compartments.....

n another 1 at the back.....so now i keep my mobile phone, earphone, keys, pendrive in this Pet Shop bag...

n here comes another issue.....

Disposal !!
(which is another thing we learn in ENG 3048M)

cuz the definition of Value is:
V = {[(Perf) + (Cap)]/[C]}
whereV=Value; Perf=Performance; Cap=Capability; C=Costs

n the definition of Cost, C is:
C = P + M + F + Op + D
P=Purchase; M=Maintenance; F=Fuel; Op=Operator; D=DISPOSAL

hmmmm......
of cos it's impossible for me to dispose them .....
jz keep it la.... they will hav other usage in the future for sure ...

n now...... another issue arises....
Waste of stock n Waste of storage space

-Waste exists in any systems
-Waste can be reduced
-Waste can be effectively and permanently reduced using systematic methods
-Improvements are possible
-Continuous improvements are possible
-Waste reduction is everybody’s job
-Waste exists because of deficiencies in management as well as employees
-Waste exists because people do not want to change
-Waste exists because of mental blocks in people..........................................

oh no... i better stop this.....too much of Quality Assurance lesson in my blog alredi !!!
